We've been staying pretty busy this summer. We started off the summer by a romantic last minute trip to Mexico and of course I have no pictures... Shocking I know :) then when we got back Brody attended Camp DaKani for a week and he loved it. It was a traditional adventure camp from arts and crafts to zip lines. He was dirty and tired everyday but enjoyed every minute of it. At the end of the week he even received the "Friendship Award". Voted by his peers as a friend, helper and leader, we were so proud of our big guy and not surprised one bit that he earned it. We then had swimming lessons where Milo and Brody both got to participate and excel in. Milo didn't take it as seriously, but had a great time with his buddy, Beckham. Brody used it as practice time to brush up on his swim team strokes. Our cousin Lydia has been here for a week and she is just as sweet as can be. She is a great helper and dog lover.... Did I mention we got a new pet, Charlie the yorkie? He's just as sweet and a great addition to out bunch.
Milo told me he wanted to clean the floors since they didn't get cleaned that day so he got a bucket with soap and water and worked away. He is my sweet and sensitive one (just like his dad)
