SOLD
We did it! Someone loved our house as much as we did. It went on the market on Saturday and we signed a contract on Sunday. We had an inspector come yesterday and thankfully there were only two "major" things that needed to be fixed and they are easy and cheap. Now we are quickly getting a game plan together to move into the rental we got next week! It's crazy but such a blessing how fast things moved. We are set to close in less 1.5 weeks. Our Buyers are solid but our realtor told us if for some reason they don't close on their home or something falls through be have another back-up buyer:) I'm going to miss this house. We made this house a home and Brody & Milo were brought here and have lived their short little lives here:) We are excited to start building our home hopefully sooner than later someone just needs to light a fire under our architect's buns! Now I just need to start packing, luckily we all ready decluttered and boxed most junk up the rest is just clothes and big furniture, so here's to fast moving....Ready, Set, Go

Soon
We are in the process of listing our home. Today the realtor came and I signed some papers and went over a list of things to do tomorrow before she stages and photographs the home. It's a little bittersweet and I was a tad emotional when she was telling me to take down all our pictures and personal belongings, but hopefully we can sell fast!

Houston week
We went down to Houston for the last week in May and had a whirlwind of a time!
Brody was excited and nervous when we got to go tour on the ship and the captain was nice enough to let him steer.
We also visited the Houston Zoo and its tasty treats
It was already getting hot enough that the gorillas were hanging in the shade
We then went down to Galveston 's Moody Gardens and toured the Aquarium. Brody has been dying to go here forever!
Milo was FACINATED by all the fish. He was yelling and screaming like a chimpanzee throwing poop!
Any habitat, animal, scientific event or phenomenon that would be featured in National Geographic is right up Brody's ally. He loves learning, so he was really excited to get an aquarium "passport" and have it stamped at each exhibit
We had to stop at the beach and get a little tan. This is my baywatch babe running out of the water
digging for seaweed
I also got to reunited with some of my old BFFs from highschool/church for a wedding. Marie was on cloud 9 and we were so happy to be with her on her wonderful day!
Easter
For easter we jetted down to Ft. Worth to visit my sister and have some fun. Brad and I had our 6th year anniversary so she was gracious enough to watch Brody and Milo on Friday night so we could go to dinner and stay the night in a little B&B. Of course i didn't get any pictures of that but the B&B was beautiful with an amazing scenery, and dinner was at an old ranch house that a DFW celebrity chef converted into a restauraunt. We came back on Saturday to the kids cruising down the street on
Milo and Brody took a couple of shots in the Blubonnet patches along the street. My niece Maile was very careful not to stomp on the state flower, which is an illegal offense in the Lone Star State.
We had a little eater egg hunt with the neighbor kids. Well, actually... we had an easter egg hunt and the little neigbor kids invited themselves to participate :) Good thing we like them!
These guys love eachother and play well together. Brody is a great big bro and always taking care of this little munchkin.
We had a second hunt with the Bowman Family in the 64 acres. Thie was Milo's first real one he could participate in and LOVED the candy.
...and Brody loved the money :)
