Sunday Sunday...

The other day Hancock Fabrics was having a 50% off + sale on almost everything so I got some cheap fabric for like $.99 a yard I made myself A nursing blanket, (which I need to take pics of ) and a little jumper for Brody. I started Brody's jumper last night and finished this morning. While I was sewing it reminded me of my mom, and when I was young she would ALWAYS make Sunday dresses for me, and she would start on saturday and finish Sunday morning, I was remembering one that she made me that was glow-in-the dark bananas (I wore it on fast sunday too)...funny I know, but it's cute when your in primary.

While I was sewing I was looking outside and witnessed the funniest thing. Sampson hadn't eaten all his dog food yesterday, so it was still in the bowl, and his food looks like brown little balls (acorns). I see this litle squirrel runn to the porch look around and get in his bowl and nibble on a piece at a time, then run back to the tree finish the food then run back to the bowl for more, it was very cute!!

This is a picture of Bro Bro I thought I would throw in of him being a big baby while trying to make dinner. NOTE:It was dinner on another night, tonight Brad made these awsome chicken club sandwiches with homemade fries...thanks babe! I couldn't get the "Full Arched Back" picture but this was close enough.

So its been getting pretty HOT and HUMID here lately and Brody and I were at a friends house when the kiddies decided to go for a swim...very zexy

Today Brad-y was mowing the lawn when we came home from washing the car. He stopped and took Brody for a little ride around the house and he didn't seem to mind at all I guess its just in the genes.

Baby BUMBO

Lately Brody has been picky about laying on the floor to play, or being in his vibrating seat, swing or play gym. After a little bit he'll get fussy and ticked and start screaming and arching his back like he wants to get out, or if he is on the floor he'll scoot his way out off the playgym or in a circle. I had heard of theses BUMBO seats, but they were kind of expensive and I heard it only went up to 22 lbs. But I was reading online that it goes up to about 14 mos or until their thighs are too big, uh oh :) So I went on craig'slist and got one for much cheaper and he really liked it even though I put him in it when he was TIIIIRED he still played and watched tv it was kinda cute.

Happy Mother's Day

Sunday was a great day! well...Brad does spoil me, so every day is like mother's day, except Sunday I got a present. One from Brad and one from Brody and one from my in-laws. Well Brody gave me his Saturday and Sunday night when he slept through the night for me. Two nights in a row Whaaawhoooo! Brad gave me some yummy muffins and fresh oj for breakfast and then he gave me a plane ticket to go home at the end of this month, bc my sister Iris and bro in law Josh and baby Lydia will be visiting from North Carolina. Then he is going to drive down and pick us up so that he can visit too. Then Brad and Kent sr. made Laurie and I these awesome fajitas for dinner with our traditional sunday dessert...banana splits,mmmmm. The Bowman;s gave me these beautiful roses with a fun new book for Brad and I to read. Hope everyone had a great day!

Camera Shy

Brody has been "talking" alot for a while now. especially in the morning. He is a morning person like brad. He'll talk and look at you straight in the eye and even make faces like he is really telling you something. So if you call at around 7:30 - 8:00 you can probably have a short conversation with him till the phone itself becomes more interesting. I have tried to record him a couple of time but he is more interested in the camera. In this clip he'll start talking about half way through so be patient.:) YOU HAVE TO PAUSE THE MUSIC ON THE SIDE TO HEAR HIM...

I started a garden on saturday, hoping it is not to late in the season. I planted all the vegtables I usuall get from the store. Green beans, zuchinni, squash, radishes, cucumbers, lettuce, bell peppers and I think thats it. Hopefully they will grow like they did last year. I didn't take care of my garden very well last year bc I was preggers and was very sicky. I also haven't seen any deer around in a while so I don't think they'll be bothering it either, I'll only have to worry about sampson trying to eat my stuff like he did last year!

Today I went with a friend to this store named "children's orchard" its a resale shop for kids, and its got some cool stuff. I didn't find anything in particular but Brody had fun with his buddy Brock.
