Mr. Fix-it

Lately Brody has been crawling around and trying to get into everything and anything! he loves to find something interesting and crawl around with it in his hands until he finds something else to crawl around with. He also loves climing ontop of things to try to stand up, toys, people, steps, and he even will try on his own but just ends up doing the YOGA move "downward dog":) he's ALWAYS climing on the printer trying to "fix" it, butends up making copies of blank sheets:)smarty pants

I feel like chicken tonight...

Last sunday we had my mother in law over for dinner since my father-in-law was in cali. I don't know how we got on the subject but I mentioned that I had already purchased Brody's Halloween costume last october before he was even born and got a steal of a deal of $5.47. good ol' OLD NAVY! We decided to let him try it on, and of course he hated us putting the costume on, but when he was the center of attention it was OKAY. Brad and I will be the farmers that raised the chicken:) too bad I can't find a rooster and a hen costume. haha

Brody has a new "thing" lately where he has been trying to stand up on eveything and anything that is at his level. He stands up on us if we're on the floor, the steps in the livingroom, his car seat, and even just on a flat surface, its cute bc it looks like he's starting a race. But what is most scary is his crib, we need to lower it now bc he gets mad when we put him down and he tries to climb out!

Lazy Days

We finally got a hammock and although its been hot we LOVE it. We swing and try not to hit Sampson who hides under it and cries bc he isn't on it with us. no way stinky dog! Brody loves it too and just smiles and laughs. He is such a sweet boy who is getting bigger and funnier every day. He even "helps" me do the laundry :)

10 Years Ago... I was 15 years old and getting my drivers permit. My parents only had standards and they made me learn bc those were the only cars my dad got bc they were cheap to fix...go figure. I hated it at first they were so hard to learn, but now I wish I still had one.

5 Years Ago... I was going back to be a junior at BYU. I was excited to live with my good friends and start working towards my major.

5 Months Ago... Brody was still a newborn but I was starting to get into a routine with him and not be so tired from being up at night. The weather was nice so we were able to venture outdoors.

Last week my sister mother and niece and nephew were able to caome and visit good ol' oklahoma. Basically we just chilled, went to pelican bay water park and POPS off route 66. Their stay was sshort lived but exciting for all!!
