Christmas Day

Christmas was fun, it was just Brad and I at home and on christmas eve we opened our stockings and on christmas day santa came and brought all sorts of gifts for the good boys and girls on Huckleberry Ln.!!! later we went with kent sr. and laurie to see the movie "The great debaters" it was really good, but its funny because I thought no one would be out on christmas, but everyone was at the movies. It must be alot of people's tradtions. Afterwards we had dinner at their house and played games...good times.

Christmas eve

It's like 9 pm and Brad is already asleep waiting for santie clause!!!!! Tonight we had my suegros over for din din and after wards we opened our sockings:) Brad-y got socks and ITUNES card, a FORBES subscription, and a daddy/son outfit all in his stocking, and I got a ton of candy two gift certificates to subway and olive garden and a very informative US magazine! yeah. We went to wal-mart at the last minute to do some stocking shopping and fill a prescription. Brad was wanting me to like speed walk through the store, but when it feels like your uterus is falling out and then someone is ringing it out, you can't walk that fast!!!!

Brad went on a cruise this week with his family for a "family reunion" (good excuse) But I couldn't go because I exceed the weight limit. He's been gone since Saturday morning and won't get back till late Sunday night!!!! But I got to talk to him on Tuesday while he was at a castle in Puerto Rico, but he hadn't spotted JLo or Marc Anthony yet :) I'm glad he went and had fun with his bros. He kept telling me of the waiters with plates of cookies and cheese cakes walking around, and eating brownies in the hot tub at 3 am. He didn't take a camera but I'm sure his family took alot of pics, so I'll post some when he gets back from P.R. and the Virgin Islands, with my souvenirs:)

FUKCOLA

Mom and I went to this gas station off historic route 66 in arcadia, ok. They sell over 500 flavors of sodas and this was one they had that we had to get because it was kinda funny, mom enjoyed it.



mom found this old hat in the yard today that the dogs found somewhere and put it on Sampson. he actually liked it and kept it on but Pito thought it looked gay and kept trying to bite it off it was cute. They liked mom, and they let her take them for a walk on a leash, which they HATE. but later on in the day she took them on another walk without the leash (and me) and when i walked out side they came running in the yard and mom was like two blocks away, so they didn't follow her like i thought....

Ba Humbug!

I'm lame when it comes to decorating for any occasion or just decorating in general. It's christmas and I don't even have a tree!!! The only decorations I have are because of my mom, she made me a table place mat and bought two small tree decorations for my fireplace.



One tradtion that Brad's family has is that they make their own stockings, and when they get married their "single" stocking gets retired and the spouses make eachothers stocking, so since Brad is an avid skiier, I made him a Ski boot, and in my skinnier days I was obsessed with jeans, he made me a jean leg stocking :)

NEW TREES

This one will be our christmas tree, since we don't know where to put one inside!!

Brad HILTON.....that's hot (this is my magnolia tree) When it blooms with it's flowers in the spring, we are going to take pics of the Brodmeister under it :)

Today Brad planted three really pretty trees, a magnolia tree, which I picked, and two pine trees. He Loves doing stuff ike this, and I like to help. I helped move one of the really big pines, by pulling it with his riding lawn mower in the hole.



Brad was in his good friend's wedding this weekend. It was fun to go see them get married they were so happy. And I enjoyed the wedding refreshments too...he he can't you tell.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

We had dinner at the Bowman's for thanksgiving today. Everyone was here in Brady's family so it was fun to get together. Laurie got Wii so everyone was playing and obsessed...it caused contention and contention is of the devil so I did not partake ;) ;) On tuesday I had a baby shower and it was alot of fun. I got tons of stuff and there were alot of Ladies there! 37 chicks came!!! My sister in laws, brad's aunt and some ladies from church hosted it and it was fun. It won't be much longer till the Broadmeister is here..Yes, Brody Ruben Bowman. But I have a feeling Brad's going to change it...

It WAS starting to get cold here so brad built Sampson and Pito a dog house, its still under construction though, but the dogs love it. They try to take the bed out of thier house and pull it outside, but its too big. Even thier dog friends come over to see it...

This is Delila, pito's friend, she was upset and plopped on the floor because I just got home, and Pito left her for me:) She tried to keep playing with Pito and Sampson but they were through with her..typical man!

If they only stayed litle....

Brad and I ran around the town last night, and we made a stop at TARGET. We were looking at strollers and such, but we ended up getting diapers and a diaper bag....well brad's diaper bag. I wanted to wait and get one that was more like a big bag lady purse, but he was so excite he found one that he could carry around and not look gay, he was pretty cute, I had to let him get it. However I'm still going to get one that I can carry around too, since I'll be carrying it around most of the time any way..no offense babe.

We also got a couple packages of diapers...I know we're nerds and we still have forever, but when I got home I had to open them and smell it. They smell like a big fat baby butt:) and it was so freaking little!!!!! It fit in our hands and in my pocket, like a little hankerchief

My cup runneth over! no kids came to our house tonight, I was so sad, I had candy, I turned on all the lights, I even left the door open, and put some Halloween paraphenalia on the freaking door. I guess the boone docks isn't the ideal location for kids, but maybe next year
Brad said that he thinks Sampson and Pito scared them away because he would here them barking crazy every so often...party poopers.

...so i gave them a treat since no on else wanted one. Sampson likes it.

I only put my pics up here because my sister wanted to see my belly.... if it were any one else I wouldn't. Brad and I bought this delish danish last monday and by last friday these were the results. I don't think this knife left the box, its nice eating entenmanns and not feeling too guilty, until days like today happen! I was at work and one of the kids came up to me and said..."you're full figured"...ouch! at first I wanted to say "yeah, well you have buck teeth". but I didn't I said, "well, it's because I'm pregnant, that's why I have a big belly". He told me his mom said that was the "polite" way to say it. Thanks for being so politically correct kid. I felt bad for my self at first, but then it was funny, but I'm the only one that can joke about it now, if any one wants to poke fun, I'm mean, I'll go straight for the juggular beotch!;)

We looked a couple of places for a glider and finall we found one for a steal at Babies 'R' Us. it not too huge and it matches our crib, and the fabric is actually blue pin striped to match the bumpers in the crib! so if our next baby is a girl we're out of luck, but we're not worried about that now.













Brad really likes the glider, but I told him he had to wash his feet before he used it. This is what he'll look like in 82 days :)

San Antonio or BUST!!!!!!

In Oklahoma the school districts let out for Fall break for a couple of days, which is nice if you work at a school, so Brad and I and our friends Nate and Natalia are going to drive down to San Antonio on Thursday and come home on Sunday. We'll be staying at La Mansion on the riverwalk, where we stayed on our honeymoon...awww (thank-you daddy), and actually this trip will be longer than our honeymoon actually was. On Friday we'll prob hang out with our friends and see the Alamo and do some shopping, but on Saturday the historic market square, which is this huge market that has all these shops, restaurants and music events going on. On Saturday they are having a cool event for the DIA DE LOS MUERTOS where junior high schools from San Antonio will be decorating exhibits and altars!!

And DEFINITELY we'll be hitting mi tierra restaurant and bakery, It's the best place to eat and its's 24 hrs....something brad will enjoys since he plans to eats his heart out this weekend!!! YEAH

Baby Mobile

So we were at Babies-R-Us on Saturday looking for a glider for the baby's room and Brad decided he wanted a baby mobile for the crib. Well he found one he likes with balls hanging off it, but I didn't see any I liked. They were all to cheesey, like with bears hugging girrafes and monkeys riding elephants... I wasn't sure if I wanted our son starring at that to much :) But I REMEMBERED that Brad's aunt made him, his brothers and sister baby mobiles when the were born, and it was so cute, she is a very good artist and so we dug it up at his mom's house and I'm excited now I just have to figure out how to hang it.... any ideas?
